Al Jazeera's Artscape: The New African Photography is a six-part documentary series which spotlights the socially conscious work of six young African photographers: Nigeria's Emeka Okereke and George Oshodi, Mozambique's Mario Macilau, Kenyan Barbara Minshi, South Africa's Neo Ntosma and Congolese Baudouin Mouanda. From a daring road trip across West Africa in search of new visual experiences, to powerful messages passed through an obsessive fixation on a single wedding dress, these six individuals have taken it upon themselves to tell Africa's stories in simple yet remarkable ways.
