Joburg Fashion Week: Flair & Flava

Fashionistas flocked to the glass catwalk at Audi Joburg Fashion Week, to see the new collections of South Africa's top designers. In Nelson Mandela Square, a white marquee- replete with high tech video screen- showcased the models as they sashayed down the runway. Outside the tent, television screens simulcasted the runway stylings to a broader audience around the square.

South Africa's first ever autumn-winter collections was a success. The country's milder clime required a creative take on traditional winter wear but the designers pulled it off with panache- using light wool blends and cashmere. For the ladies, here's your front row view of the Sun Goddess, Carducci, Stoned Cherrie, Gavin Rajah, Philosophy, Exodus, Hip Hop and CGdt & KLuk shows:
